Hi, I’m Rachael. I'm so glad you are here.
I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and Perinatal Mental Health–Certified clinician (PMH-C) in Ohio. I support parents who are navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions that come with becoming—and being—a parent. I currently work full time at Nationwide Children's Hospital as a Staff Support Clinician. My role is to provide theurapuetic services to staff and use my expertise to create a trauma informed system for all staff, who most of the time happen to be parents.
My work is deeply shaped by both clinical training and lived experience. After facing my own perinatal mental health challenges during pregnancy and postpartum, I felt called to create a space where parents feel safe, understood, and supported as whole humans—not just in crisis, but in growth. I integrate trauma-informed care, somatic and nervous system–based tools, and gentle mindfulness practices to help parents build capacity, resilience, and steadiness in everyday life.
Through The Whole Parent Collective, I offer somatic therapy that honors your experiences, your body, and the reality that parenting and intuition are deeply connected. We move at your pace, grounded in compassion, connection, and hope.
Please enjoy my pictures of a photo session attempt with my toddler, who at the time wanted nothing to do with me. Popping these in to let you know... I'm just like you. Mom haircut and all.
